Ted Flynn x215         Plas-Ties' Customer Care Corner Just Ask Ted Problem: A well-known maker of jams and jelly was looking for a way to temporarily secure and seal their containers for transportation.  The containers are filled at one location and then shipped to another area for canning & labeling.  The primary concern was that each of the containers had to be tamper-proof to ensure food safety for the consumer.    Solution: Ted found the perfect sized cable tie to lock the lid of the container, making them tamper-proof.  Imprinting the company name on the cable tie allowed for easy identification and sequential numbers could be used for tracking.    The customer was pleased with the open communication and creative solution and is now a repeat customer.
